A Catholic priest has allegedly shot a boy dead in Imo State.
The incident reportedly happened at the the St Columbus Catholic Church in the Amaimo community Ikeduru local government area of the state on New year day.
Although the victim’s name is yet to be known, the boy was shot after when he was reported to have thrown knockouts into the church.
The incident has been confirmed by Imo State Police Command Spokesman,Henry Okoye who said a detailed investigation had been initiated to ascertain the remote facts surrounding the incident.
It has since sent the community into shock and chaos as many have condemned this action by the Catholic priest, calling for a proper investigation and arrest of the suspect.
