There Is no certainty that the CAF Confederation Cup game between Enyimba International of Nigeria and Zamalek of Egypt will take place due to delay in players remuneration.
According to Egyptian journalist, Khaled El-Ghandour, Zamalek is suffering a major financial crisis which may degenerate if not quickly resolved.
According to him, the players demanded an advance payment on their contracts for the new season from the team’s football director, Abdel-Wahid Al-Sayed as they were yet to receive any compensation since the beginning of the current season.
The demand seems to have displeased the management with players now bent on boycotting all football engagements including this weekend’s game against Enyimba in Uyo until their demands are met.
