The Ekiti State lawmakers’ caucus in the National Assembly has called on stakeholders, including state governments, private sector leaders, civil society, and citizens, to support the tax reform bills currently before the federal legislature.
The caucus stated that the tax reforms, which aim to transform the country’s fiscal framework, “are a testament to the bold and transformative agenda of President Bola
Tinubu, prioritising economic growth, inclusivity, and national prosperity.”
The nine All Progressives Congress lawmakers from Ekiti State in the National Assembly, Senators Opeyemi Bamidele, Yemi Adaramodu, and Cyril Fasuyi, along with Representatives Olufemi Bamisile, Olusola Steve Fatoba, Biodun Omoleye, Rufus Ojuawo, Akinlayo Kolawole, and Akin Rotimi, made this known in a jointly signed statement released in Ado Ekiti TODAY
They noted that the success of the reform bills “is not only a win for the Tinubu administration but also a critical step toward building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.”
