Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has presented a budget proposal of ₦790 billion for the 2025 fiscal year to the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Presenting the 2025 budget proposal at the chambers of the Kaduna State House of Assembly on Monday, Sani stated that the budget prioritises critical sectors such as infrastructure, human capital development, security, and agriculture.
According to the governor, the 2025 budget proposal is designed to drive inclusive development, create jobs, improve infrastructure, and invest in the people of Kaduna State.
The Governor added“We are determined to build a state that is safe, prosperous, and equitable for all.
“The 2025 budget proposal reflects our commitment to this vision and our determination to make Kaduna State a place where everyone can thrive,” he said.
The budget proposal allocates ₦553 billion for capital expenditure and ₦237 billion for recurrent expenditure. Education received the largest allocation, with ₦206.6 billion earmarked for the sector, representing 26.14% of the total budget.
