
Former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television, Chidoka confirmed he had formally submitted his resignation to his ward in Anambra State.
Explaining his decision, Chidoka stated his intent to step away from politics to focus on his non-profit organization, Athena Centre and collaborate with like-minded Nigerians to reform the political system and promote evidence-based governance.
“Earlier today, I sent a letter to my ward in Anambra State resigning officially from the PDP. I am leaving politics for some time to focus on the Athena Centre,” Chidoka said.
Chidoka, who served as Minister of Aviation under former President Goodluck Jonathan.
