A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Surulere, Lagos has remanded a 27-year-old tiler, Qudus Kazeem arraigned for allegedly raping the wife of his employer in Surulere area of Lagos.
The prosecutor, Insp Reuben Solomon, told the court that Kazeem arraigned on a four-count charge of unlawful sexual intercourse, threat to life, obtaining money under false pretences, and stealing committed the offense in December 2022.
Solomon alleged that Kazeem who was employed to lay tiles in the apartment of one left his work and forced himself on his employer’s wife.
According to him, the defendant threatened to ruin the victim’s marriage if she did not send money to him or willingly have intercourse with him .
After remanding Kazeem in Prison, Magistrate Sanusi Adagun adjourned the case until Dec. 18 for mention.
