In a significant event, the National Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Rt. Hon. Oluwasegun Famuyibo officially inaugurated the 4th Assembly of YAN Katsina State at the Bello Kofar Bai Hall, Katsina State Secretariat.
The inauguration which occurred yesterday coincided with the relocation of the organization’s National Secretariat to Katsina State.
The move is part of YAN’s leadership Thank You visit initiative, aimed at fostering deeper engagement with local youth assemblies and strengthening youth involvement across the nation.
During the ceremony, National Speaker commended the unity and exemplary conduct of youth structures in Katsina State, highlighting their integral role in fostering peace and stability within the region. He expressed appreciation for the Government of Katsina State, led by His Excellency Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, for its instrumental support in youth development.
In his address, the National Speaker Famuyibo made a heartfelt appeal to the state government for additional support, requesting the provision of a befitting secretariat through the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the allocation of an 18-seater bus to facilitate the organization’s operational needs.
