No fewer than 70 vehicles were confiscated on Monday by the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit, for flagrant violation of the State traffic law as amended.
The Director, Public Affairs, Lagos State Taskforce, Gbadeyan Abdulraheem said the vehicles were impounded in coordinated operations, at target locations where reckless traffic violations cause avoidable traffic congestion.
Warning motorists in the habit of traffic recklessness, Chairman of the Taskforce, CSP Adetayo Akerele, maintained that citizens must cooperate and obey relevant laws, for the safety and security of the public.
Akerele further said that the Agency will not tolerate or surrender to any indiscipline perpetuated by any lawless motorist.
