The Kaduna State Electoral Independent Commission (SEICOM) has declared the All Progressive Congress (APC) winners of all 23 local government chairmanship seats and 255 councillorship positions.
SEICOM Chairman, Hajara Mohammed who announced the results confirmed that eight political parties participated in the elections, including APC, PDP, LP, and others. Mohammed stated, “By the power vested in the Commission, I confirm that APC won the 23 chairmanship and 255 councillorship positions across the state.”
Speaking on the election, Governor Uba Sani described the process as peaceful, free, and fair.
He expressed satisfaction with the conduct, noting that only minor issues were reported in a few polling units.
