The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a club bouncer, Kingsley Otti, for allegedly stabbing a suspected hoodlum to death at a lounge on Ago Palace Way, Okota.
According to police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident occurred on Monday around 3:30 a.m. during an altercation between Otti and the victim in the club’s car park.
The victim, who was reportedly unconscious after the attack, was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police detectives visited the scene and inspected the body, which was later taken to Mainland General Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
Hundeyin confirmed that Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
