Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State Command have recovered six suspected stolen phones and two power banks from a pickpocket who took to his heels during a stop and search operations by Command men along the iworoko axis in the state capital.
A statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer CDPRO, Afolabi Tolulope said the phones valued at about two million naira range from Samsung, Umgidi, and other expensive phones were among the suspected stolen phones recovered from the bag the culprit abandoned.
It added that “the State Command is here appealing to the general public whose phone might have been stolen at Iworoko axis and other places in the state to visit the office of the Command’s Public Relations Officer with concrete proof of ownership to recover the phones”.
