The lead Counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Aloy Ejimakor, has said the Department of State Services, DSS, is not a safe place for the agitator.
Ejimakor who spoke to Journalists while raising concerns over Kanu’s state of health as his trial lingers said DSS lacked the facilities to take care of sick detainees, adding that the attitude of its operatives was enough to cause mental and physical illness.
The IPOB leader is currently detained at the Abuja facility of the DSS.
