President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop Daniel Okoh has urged Nigerians to be courageous and hopeful, calling for unity and progress.
He made the call in a statement on Tuesday as the country celebrates its 64th independent anniversary.
He emphasised the importance of reflecting on the nation’s journey, celebrating achievements, and recommitting to the ideals of peace and harmony.
“Despite the challenges that have tested our resolve, we continue to demonstrate resilience and a shared commitment to the common good,” Okoh stated.
He urged citizens to “embrace peaceful coexistence and work collaboratively to build a future marked by mutual respect and understanding.”
