Ojukaye Flag Amachree has been appointed as the new Director of Energy Security under the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
Zakari Mijinyawa, ONSA’s Head of Strategic Communications, announced the appointment, highlighting the government’s commitment to a stable and secure energy supply.
In his new role, Amachree will oversee national energy security initiatives and strengthen community participation in safeguarding Nigeria’s energy resources. This aims to support both short and long-term energy sustainability.
The statement also emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s focus on improving energy security and addressing supply chain issues. The National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, congratulated Amachree on his appointment.
Amachree will work with government ministries, security agencies, energy regulators, international partners, and community leaders to tackle Nigeria’s energy challenges.
