President Bola Tinubu has praised the Nigerian Army for their successful operations against security threats in the North-West, especially neutralising notorious bandit leader, Halilu Sububu, known for terrorizing citizens in Zamfara, Sokoto, and other parts of the region.
In a separate joint operation in Katsina, troops also eliminated another terrorist, Sani Wala Burki, while 13 kidnapped students were rescued from a terrorist enclave in Kaduna.
These operations follow President Tinubu’s directive to the service chiefs to relocate to the North-West until normalcy is restored.
The President commended the military, intelligence agencies, and security operatives for their synergy and dedication.
He urged them to maintain their efforts until all threats are eliminated and promised continued support to ensure Nigeria’s safety and security.
