A Senior Magistrate Court in Kano, presided over by Ibrahim Abubakar Mansur, has dismissed charges against 37 #EndBadGovernance protesters while granting bail to 48 others.
The court, sitting at the Goron Dutse Correctional Centre, ruled on Friday in favour of discharging the protesters before adjourning to September 18, 2024, for further mention.
Those granted bail were ordered to deposit one million naira each at the Kano State High Court Registry and provide two reliable sureties.
This follows an earlier ruling at the Gyadi-Gyadi Senior Magistrate Court, where 36 protesters were unconditionally discharged, and 35 were granted bail after legal advice from the Kano State Ministry of Justice.
That matter is set for another hearing on October 9, 2024.
