The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended two men for allegedly robbing three commercial sex workers.
Police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrests on Saturday.
The suspects reportedly picked up the victims on August 23, 2024, from Adeniran Ogunsanya Street in Bode Thomas, under the guise of seeking their services.
They then stopped midway and robbed the women of their valuables, including phones – two Iphones, one REDMI Note 12 and Iphone SR worth over N1.4 million and forced cash transfers totaling N33,000.
Hundeyin said during the investigation, the suspects confessed to the crime. He disclosed that the suspects operational vehicle, a Toyota Camry with Reg. No. APP335 JA, two other blank number plates they were using for their operation were recovered.
