Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Oyebanji has approved relaunch Home Grown School Feeding Programme.
This development marks a significant step forward in the state’s commitment to enhancing educational welfare, particularly in the area of child nutrition.
As part of the preparations, the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Social Investments initiated a comprehensive revalidation exercise for the food vendors involved in the program.
This exercise saw the participation of over 2,000 vendors, ensuring that only qualified and vetted individuals will be serving meals to schoolchildren.
The revalidation process was meticulously conducted across all 16 local government areas in the state, reflecting the administration’s dedication to thoroughness and accountability.
