President Bola Tinubu has condemned the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
In a statement by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu described the brutal attack on the traditional ruler as deeply disturbing and a heinous act that will not go unpunished.
The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the government of Sokoto State. He prayed for the repose of the traditional ruler’s soul and for comfort for his family during this difficult time.
President Tinubu assured Nigerians that his administration is actively working to eliminate threats to national security and that such acts of terror will be met with decisive action.
