The Lagos state police command has announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with an attempted kidnapping along Ebute Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu.
The Lagos state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin who identified the suspects as Taiwo Olayinka, Azeez Sodiq, and Saheed Moonstruck disclosed that they were apprehended shortly after the incident.
While it is yet to be confirmed whether the suspects were acting as kidnappers or thieves, SP Hundeyin suggested the suspects were part of a gang that allegedly attempted to kidnap a car dealer in the area.
He noted that investigation is ongoing to unravel the truth.
