Sanitation activities continued in Lagos on Monday with the state Government’s environmental taskforce dislodging cattle rearers, squatters, as well as shanties under Western Avenue bridge inward Alaka, Surulere.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab via his X account.
Earlier, the Commissioner stressed the importance of good sanitation practices among all residents, saying they will help ensure a clean, flood-free, safe, and sustainable environment across the state.
Wahab who opted to speak in Yoruba said this during the Weekly Community Based Environmental Sanitation Advocacy campaign held at Omobokun Street, Ekimogun Underbridge Iyana Oworo, Bariga Local Council Development Area.
