Former member of the House of Representatives, Joan Onyemaechi has regained freedom following her kidnap a few days ago.
This was confirmed by Spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, Bright Edafe who was silent on whether any ransom was paid to secure her freedom but promised to offer details later.
Onyemaechi was a one-time member of the House of Representatives, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly and also the immediate past Commissioner for Technical Education in the state.
She was abducted by gunmen on July 30 from her church premises along the DBS Road in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
