Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari, has strongly denied allegations linking staff of the company to the importation of substandard petroleum products into the country.
Speaking before a Senate ad-hoc committee investigating economic sabotage in the petroleum industry, Kyari refuted claims of the company sabotaging Nigeria’s economy.
He revealed that the oil and gas industry is facing challenges as well as other hidden details that he could not talk about in public yet.
He requested that future committee sessions be televised live for transparency.
