Chairman southern governors forum and Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has charged state governors and traditional rulers to forge a strong union, able to identity challenges bedevilling the nation and providing viable solutions.
Abiodun said this during the inauguration of the southern Nigeria traditional ruler’s council, noting that there is a need for synergy, to leverage individual advantage, for effective national development, at a time where Nigeria needs guidance.
On the subject of the planned protest, the governor faulted enemies of the present administration, for wanting to hijack power through anarchy, stressing that such moves will have devastating effect for Nigeria, among the comity of nations.
On his part, the chairman of progressive governors forum, and Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma called on Nigerian leaders to set aside selfish ambitions, warning that their ambitions can only materialize if Nigeria exists.
