Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced a generous package of N100,000 for National Youth Service Corps members in Lagos State.
During the Passing-Out Parade for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Corps Members, the governor pledged the amount to each of the 4,254 corps members leaving the orientation camp.
Additionally, Sanwo-Olu committed N5 billion towards constructing a permanent NYSC Orientation Camp in the state.
He also allocated N100 million for NYSC support staff.
The governor praised the corps members for their hard work and assured that the funds would be credited to their accounts by next week.
This substantial financial support demonstrates the Lagos State government’s commitment to youth development and the NYSC program.
