President Bola Tinubu will, on Tuesday depart Lagos for Pretoria, South Africa, to attend the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
According to Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu will return to Nigeria after the ceremony.
The inauguration of President Ramaphosa follows his re-election as President for a second term.
A coalition of Lawmakers in Cape Town voted overwhelmingly to put Ramaphosa back in office for another five years after the May 29 general election produced no outright winner.
Ramaphosa”s African National Congress subsequently opted to form a government of National Unity with smaller parties.
In his victory speech, Ramaphosa applauded the new coalition, saying voters expected the leaders to “act and to work together for the good of everyone in our country
