President Bola Tinubu has restated his commitment to recognizing and rewarding the contributions of outstanding individuals to the common wealth of Nigeria.
The President said this after he approved the naming of the M18 road infrastructure in Guzape District, Abuja after renowned novelist, Chinua Achebe.
In a statement by his Special Assistant on social media, Olusegun Dada, Tinubu hailed Achebe as a pacesetter, who used his gifts to amplify the creative nature of Nigerians, paving way for many generations, through his dedication and effort.
Recall the President earlier this week approved the naming of another road after Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka, as requested by the minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike.
