The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have called off their industrial action.
TUC president Festus Osifo confirmed the development moments ago in Abuja.
He said the strike was suspended for five days to allow uninterrupted meetings with the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage.
He added that a communique on the development will be issued shortly.
