Lagos state government has promised to expand its frontiers through productive partnership with reputable organisations and nations interested in the development of Africa and Nigeria in particular.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said this while unveiling a partnership with a Dutch firm, to generate power from solid waste, granting permission to the firm to build High Efficiency Waste-to-Energy Plant on Epe landfill.
In their response, the firm appreciated the government of the state for creating an enabling environment for foreign partners to thrive, promising to bring their experience and exposure to bear, in delivering the best for the state.

Earlier, the Governor received the U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission Director, Melissa Jones, to discuss partnerships in morbidity and mortality rate in Nigeria, with particular emphasis on health insurance.
Jones praised the efforts of the government, for its dedication and political will, which has accelerated development and impactful growth in all the areas of concern.
