PLANS TO BRING IN FORMER EMIR OF KANO WILL BE RESISTED – GOVT
ACCUSES APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN AND OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER OF IMPUNITY
The Kano state government has alleged that the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje in connivance with the office of the National security adviser have smuggled in the former emir of Kano Aminu Bayero to the state with the plan of bringing him to the palace.
The deputy governor of the state, Aminu Abdulsalam says such move will be strongly resisted by the government and people of the state.
Already, the governor of the state, Abba Yusuf and other top government officials have accompanied Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to the palace with the support of heavily manned security around the palace.
They vow to remain at the palace in order to resist any attempt to force in the former emir of the state.
