The Commonwealth Institute of Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS) is gearing up to host its m Quarterly Public Lecture, with the theme, “Anatomy of Corruption.”
The event, slated for Thursday, May 9th, promises an insightful discourse to be headlined by CIAPS Institute Director and Professor of Strategy and Development, Anthony Kila, who will deliver the keynote address.
Joining him are seasoned Fred Nzeakor, a Legal and Public Affairs Analyst with a wealth of experience; Bala Zakka, an Accountant, Engineer and Tax Expert; and ICAN district Chairman; Debo Adeniran, a Consultant Educationalist and Pioneer Secretary-General, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights; and Nabilah Usman, an Editor, Writer and Broadcast journalist.
As Bisola Ojo, CIAPS Events Manager, emphasized, “This event is part of our efforts to understand and help improve the world we live in. A lecture like this is an opportunity to engage with professionals and the public on issues that will soon affect their world.”
The event will take place at the CIAPS Auditorium, Ikeja, Lagos with doors opening at 9 a.m. for the red carpet and cocktails. The lecture will commence at 10am. and conclude at 12pm, followed by drinks and music.
