Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp on Sunday admitted to feeling ‘really rubbish(ed)’ after Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at Anfield and concedes that the Reds were ‘horrible to watch’ in the first half of their costly loss.
The Reds needed a win to send them back above Manchester City but Eberechi Eze’s early goal instead handed Palace a vital win in their battle for survival as they move eight points clear of the drop zone.
Beside that they [Palace] could just play through. They [Liverpool] were horrible to watch.’
Liverpool were not only hoping to bounce back from their disappointing 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend, but reaction was needed following their shocking 3-0 loss at home to Atalanta in midweek.
