President Bola Tinubu insists that no ransom will be paid for the rescue of the over 200 students abducted from Kuriga in Kaduna State.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris who briefed newsmen after today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting echoed the President’s message, alongside his directive to the Defence Headquaters to ensure that the children are rescued and brought back safely to their homes.
According to Idris, the Tinubu administration remains committed to tackling kidnapping and other criminal activities in the country.
According to him, under the current government, kidnapping, especially mass abduction will not be tolerated.
