The Commandant General of Kano State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Ibrahim Daurawa, has returned to his position following his reconciliation with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Daurawa had publicly announced his resignation as Hisbah Boss but did not do so formally.
However, on Monday night, Daurawa met with the governor in company of some respected personalities.
He had initially announced his resignation after Governor Yusuf criticised the modus operandi of ‘operation kau da badala’ – an initiative of the board aimed at fighting immorality in the state.
Since his announcement, it was gathered that government had been making moves to reconcile, sending a delegation that included Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Falgore and the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Sheikh Ibrahim Maqari to pacify him.
