Tragedy struck on Wednesday morning along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway as five persons were confirmed dead while 10 others sustained injuries in an accident along the route.
The Spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, Florence Okpe, told newsmen that the incident involving two trucks and a bus occurred this morning.
Okpe explained that the truck made a sudden U-turn without any indication to alert the truck behind which led to loss of control on both the truck and the bus.
The FRSC spokesperson explained that the injured victims were taken to a hospital in Mowe while the deceased were deposited at Idera Hospital morgue, Sagamu.
