President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, admitting that his void would be hard to fill.
Akeredolu was buried a few days ago in Owo, Ondo State.
Tinubu also extended his condolences to the Olowo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye who also described the ex governor as a true democrat who was fully committed to democratic principles and practices.
Tinubu who was received by Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his Ekiti State counterpart Biodun Oyebanji also visited Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of the pan-Yoruba organisation Afenifere.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu is expected in Lagos Thursday to commission the Red Rail line project.
