The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for what he deemed a well-organized by-election in Surulere Federal Constituency 1.
Gbajabiamila said this shortly after casting his vote at Ward 08, polling unit 014 where he also lamented a relatively poor turnout.
He advised any eventual winner of the poll to remain focused on delivery the right needs to the people regardless of the initial challenges.
The Surulere Federal Constituency seat became vacant following Gbajabiamila’s appointment as Chief of Staff to the President.
