The Lagos state environment and special offences enforcement unit (task force) has impounded 355 more commercial motorcycles in an operation that lasted about five hours.
The public relations officer of the agency, Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, in a statement said the seizures was carried out in Alakija, Abule and trade fair/Badagry expressway within weeks.
Abdulraheem noted that the operation was to send a clear message to motor cyclist also known as okada riders, that there is no place for them in a mega city like Lagos.
He stressed that the intense operations would be extended to every nook and cranny of the state, till the war against the motorcyclists is won.
