Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, says the state will experience rapid transformation in the coming year, with the strict implementation of the 2024 appropriation bill, tagged Budget of Reconstruction and Recovery.
In a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke disclosed that the budget was crafted to fast-track the revitalization of the various sectors of the state economy, with focus on sustainable development.
According to him, his administration will expend resources on rebuilding all the sectors including education, health, sports, roads, agriculture, creative industry, digital economy, and general infrastructure, alongside women- and youth-focused programmes and policies.
The budget pegged at N273.9 billion was passed by the House of Assembly and transmitted to the governor, who assented to it, commending the lawmakers for the prompt processing of the appropriation bill.
