The Military High Command is doubling down on its work to create a safe environment for citizens against insurgency activities with its recent efforts resulting in the killing of over 40 terrorists.
To this effect, Director of Defence Media Operations, DMO Major General Edward Buba said troops have been deployed across the country to conduct massive operations across the country.
General Buba disclosed that 191 suspects were arrested while troops recovered 72 assorted weapons and 338 assorted ammunition.
He added that during the period under review, troops also arrested 68 perpetrators of oil theft and rescued 80 kidnapped hostages.
