The Acting Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has called on the people of the state to out grow selfish ambition and retrogressive politics which he said had slowed down the process of government in the last two months.
Aiyedatiwa speaking in a televised address to the people, stated that the past events has taught a lesson that tussle for power, leaves the people at the receiving end while insisting that governance is not about politicians but the people.
The acting Governor also restated his commitment to the growth of the state, promising to do all in is capacity to cover up the gap and lapses accumulated in the past few months, to set the state back on the path of productivity and progress.
Aiyedatiwa in the broadcast prayed for the speedy recovery of ailing Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who recently embarked on another medical leave to Germany.
