The Commissioner for Transportation in Ogun State, Dairo Olugbenga has offered assurances that the State Government would soon commence Construction of bus stations along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway for the introduction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Mass Transit.
Olugbenga explained that the planned bus stations, strategically located in Mowe, Ibafo Arepo, and Berger axis, will contribute to easing transportation challenges in Ogun State
He stressed that the deployment of CNG-powered mass transit buses to the corridor would precede the construction of the bus stations, providing a cost-effective and safe means of transportation.
He also restated the administration’s commitment to price control to ensure affordable transportation for the residents of Ogun State and to contribute to a cleaner and safer environment.
