Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has written to the Lagos State House of Assembly requesting the screening and confirmation of one new commissioner nominee, Abiodun Ogunleye.
The governor also nominated five Special Advisers to the cabinet but did not include their names.
The Speaker, Mudasiru Obasa who presided over plenary aligned with the resolutions of some lawmakers including, Adedamola Kasumu and Owolabi Ibrahim who decried Sanwo-Olu’s failure to specify the Special Advisers and asked that he submit their names for confirmation before they would approve the nominations.
However, the assembly will begin screening the commissioner nominee while awaiting the full details on the special advisers.
