Lagos state government says it will continue to create enabling environment for stakeholders in the transportation sector to allow an all-inclusive policy to sustain growth and development.
Commissioner for transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi said this today, stating that the government will involve transport unions in its plans, to reassure them of level playing ground.
According to him, Sanwo-Olu’s government is not against transport unions but it is actively working towards modern and efficient transportation system suitable for the mega-city dream.
Recall on September 9, the state Government dissolved its Park and Garages Committee to allow the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to coordinate activities across motor parks and garages in the state.
