Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has inaugurated the Yaba Overpass Bridge which he says would improve traffic flow within the Yaba/Ojuelegba axis, reduce travel time, and improve the safety of lives and property.
Sanwo-olu who expressed Joy at the completion of the bridge said the remaining three on the Red Line route – Ikeja, Mushin, and Oyingbo would also be opened before the year’s end.
He reiterated his stern warning to those engaged in trading and illegal activities on the bridge and the rail tracks.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also hinted that the contract for the second phase of the Blue Rail line had been signed, and the contractor had moved to the site.
