Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu in company of his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat have formally commissioned the Yaba flyover bridge, promising residents of delivering tremendous economically valuable projects in different areas of the state.

The overpass bridge is one of the five overpass bridges constructed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to eliminate the interaction between vehicular traffic and train services.

According to him, three out of the four remaining Bridges are completed and ready for commissioning in a few weeks, while the fourth bridge, which is in Mushin would be ready before the end of the year.

Sanwo-Olu stated that the red line services when fully operational would transport more than 1 million passengers everyday.
