Nigerian prolific striker, Victor Osimhen continues his quest for glory, shattering another in world football.

According to the ranking of Ballon d’or Osimeh made the top ten best players in the world, sitting at the 8th position.

This remarkable achievement makes him the first-ever Nigerian player to break into the prestigious top ten.

Finidi George was the first to appear on the list back in 1995, sitting on the 21st position before Kanu nwankwo came close to hitting the mark in 1996 when he landed in the 11th position.

In 1997, Victor Ikpeba ranked 32nd, Kanu Nwankwo featured again in 1999 ranked 23rd.

Last season, Osimeh became the highest-scoring African player in the Seria A history, won the coveted Capocannoniere and the Serie A golden boot.
