President Bola Tinubu has restated his commitment to serve and better the lot of Nigerians, urging the people to exercise patience and firm belief in the goodness and prosperity of the country.

The President said this while reacting to the judgement of the supreme court, which affirmed his victory at the February 2023 general elections, stating that the judgement will only embolden his desire to fix the bottlenecks in the country and marshal all round development.

He called on aggrieved persons to sideline personal interest and embrace dialogue, noting that politicking is over and governance which he described as the business of every Nigerian is advancing in earnest.

Earlier, Former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari lauded the judgement of the supreme court, saying that the judiciary has affirmed itself as the hub of justice and verity.

In a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, the former president advised opposition parties to toll the path of peace and national progress.
