Akeredolu Hosts South West Governors in Ibadan, Harps on Collaboration

Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum and Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has urged his colleagues in the South West to work together for the growth of the region.

He made the call when he played host to Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti at his Ibadan home to discuss issues of interest.

Akeredolu has continued to run the affairs of Ondo State from Ibadan where he is recovering from prostate cancer.

Governor Makinde who spoke on behalf of the Governors after the meeting said the Forum is praying for Governor Akeredolu, adding that he has the support of all the Governors in the region.

Meanwhile, Governor Ademola Adeleke was not present or represented at the meeting.
