President Tinubu Celebrates Girl Child, Promises to Foster Equity, Fairness

President Tinubu has restated his commitment to foster equality and fairness in opportunities and policies to empower the girl child as well as the boy child.

Tinubu in a statement via x while commemorating the international day of the girl child, stated that the female gender is a blessing and a gem that must be nurtured and nourished.

According to him, his government will continue to partner stakeholders to provide enabling environment for the growth and expression of the girl child, as an important part of the Nigerian society.

International Day of the Girl Child is observed on October 11, this year’s theme according to the UNICEF is, Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being
